Art Runway Show Success

Mrs. Gibson's Art Class and Mrs. Milburn's Floral Design Class collaborated to create a runway event showcasing student-designed outfits and floral arrangements themed around a famous artwork.

Mrs. Gibson's class was challenged to think critically about work beyond pencil and paper. How would you interpret a painting through textiles?

Mrs. Milburn's class was challenged to design a floral bouquet, corsage, or boutonniere to accompany each of the student artists' designs.

These students showed bravery, creativity, originality, and overall artistic ability. Taking a topic and building from the ground up is challenging, and they did an outstanding job.
